Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a marathon runner, outdoors enthusiast, student, a soon-to-be physical therapist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being with my wife. She is the most amazing person I know. But when I'm not with her I'm probably either at school, work, or in the outdoors. I am an active person. I run, bike, rock climb, ice climb, snow shoe, hike, fish, camp, and just about any other outdoor activity you can think of. I work at a physical therapy office and enjoy learning anything I can about the human body. I plan on graduating with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 4 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I wouldn't be happy living any other religion. I was raised a Mormon from birth. Although I was raised Mormon, in my teens I had to know for myself whether this church was true or not. I was preparing to serve a full-time mission for my church but I had to know if it was true. At the time I had recently graduated high school and was working two jobs to save money. During my breaks at my job I would sit in my car and read the scriptures. I can't remember the exact date but one day as I was reading the scriptures I was overcome by a feeling that I can't completely describe. It came and went within minutes but I will never forget the power of it. That day I knew that the book I was reading, the Book of Mormon, was true and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the only true church on the face of the earth. Acquiring a knowledge of the truthfulness of the church has been the most important thing to me. Because of this knowledge I was blessed with the opportunity to serve a mission in Los Angeles, California speaking Spanish. Because of this knowledge I am happily married to my beautiful wife. Because of this knowledge I am who I am today.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith by following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. Christ served anyone and everyone. For the local LDS church I attend, I serve as a leader for men ages 21-30 or so (Elders Quorum President). This entails teaching Sunday lessons, organizing activities to help us get to know each other, performing service to those in need, and helping other members in our church in any way that I can. I do my best to do what Christ would do if he were here today.
