Hi I'm Katie

I grew up in NH. I'm a college graduate. I'm a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a twenty-something mother of two beautiful girls and the wife of the most wonderful man I know. I have been married to my husband for 4 years. I grew up in NH but went to UT for college. I have a Bachelors degree and have chosen to be a stay-at-home mom. Along with caring for my little ones I enjoy reading, watching movies, and dancing around the house with my little girls.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but I was taught the value of a testimony being the daughter of converts. Over the years I have developed my own testimony in the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and therefore the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that President Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet on the earth today. I know that revelation is modern and continual. I know that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who atoned for the sins of the world and died that we may be resurrected and live forever. I know that I am a child of God and I strive that I may one day live again in His presence.

How I live my faith

In church I teach the five year-olds about the basic principles and history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The class consists of two rambunctious little boys.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Mormon women are just like other women. We have dreams, aspirations, goals, and a desire to make something of our lives. Mormons do believe that men and women are equal. We simply believe that they were created for different purposes. Neither purpose is more important than the other. They are both of great and equal importance. Show more Show less
