Hi I'm mike

I am 1 of 3 children. Grew up in the northwest. Migrated to Georgia for work. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Grew up in Washington. After high school I left for Costa Rica to serve 2 year mission. I came back an went to a local community college and played soccer with my brother. Transferred to BYU and met my wife Audra. After school I went to PA school in Texas. Worked in Texas ER for 2 yrs then we moved to Georgia to be close to my wife's sister and her family. We have 4 boys now and love Georgia. We have converted to SEC football. Love sports and being outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

My dad was a convert at age 19. He was catholic. My mom's family can be traced back to the Mormon pioneers. I was raised Mormon, but there eventually came a time when I needed to decide if I was going to continue in the same path. It is not always easy being Mormon. It requires hard work and dedication. I studied and prayed and received a witness from the holy ghost that the church was true. I have never looked back. I love the church. It's principle focus is about the family and how to reunite my family with my father in heaven once again. It's the best decision I ever made.

How I live my faith

this is a church of service . everyone serves . I have had a chance to work with the youth and with the adults. The ward congregation will do service projects to anyone in need. Last year a tree fell on my neighbors fence after a storm. I called a friend from the church and the next day we had 15 men and boys with chainsaws and the tree was gone in a matter of hours. The ward recently went help victims of the recent tornado damage in GA. I try to help others the best I can.
