Hi I'm Dathan

I've moved around 24 times. Music is a big part of my life. Family is everything. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a very out going individual. I love anything and everything about the outdoors, especially the snow. I'm a down to earth person and like everyone. I love my family and will do anything for them. I was a General Manger of a pizza place. My father was in the Military for 20 years, and now retired. I've lived in 7 different states. I love being with my friends, and planning different activities. I enjoy sports, football, ruby, soccer, wrestling, but most of all Lacrosse. I love anything with a board in it, for example. Snowboarding, skateboarding, long boarding, mountain boarding, skim boarding, surfing, and mountain biking, and BMX. I went to college for a year. I love music and playing the guitar, and ukulele.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to uphold the beliefs I've been taught throughout my life, because I have learned through my own experiences the true happiness that comes into my life when I am living the gospel. I testify that The Church of Jesus of Latter-day Saints is the one true church on this earth. I know that when you are living the gospel that Christ will bless you. I testify that the Book of Mormon is true, and that if you read and pray about it, that you will receive an answer. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, and that he translated the Book of Mormon. I know that we have a true prophet on this earth today, and that he receives revelation from Christ. I know that families can be together forever through sealing in the temple. I know that we may be forgiven of our sins, through the atonement of Christ. I know that the Plan of Salvation, or the Plan of Happiness will give all of us true happiness in this life. I testify that if you endure to the end, that you will be blessed.

How I live my faith

I have a calling in my ward. I teach 5 year olds. I also home teach with my father. I live my faith by fulfilling my callings, by preparing lessons for my class, and lessons with my father, and the families that we teach. Also my father and I have been called to teach an 8 year old girl, about Christ, and prepare her for baptism. By Preparing lessons and activities to ready her for baptism. In my daily life I endeavor to read the Scriptures daily, to be honest with everyone I encounter, work hard, and do my best at my job. I also do not lie, steal, cheat, curse, or put anyone down. I attempt to help everyone I can. I work to keep my mind, and thoughts clean, and try to always center my life around Christ.
