Hi I'm James

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a rural town in the USA. Married my high school sweetheart after serving a Mission to Australia. We have six children, five boys and one girl. She's pretty sure that she's special. She's right. And spoiled. We play alot of softball and golf and love to get together at tournaments all over the country. My wife is one of the understanding ones that love the games and watching her boys play. We have six grandchildren, four boys and two girls, all under 11. The girls think they are special. They are. And spoiled. My family is the best and anyone who knows us agrees. JK. But we love each other and love each other's company and that's what it is all about, seems to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Gospel of Jesus Christ but like most of us birthers, had to find our own way. I'm still learning and the cool thing is that now I'm older, I love to learn from the youth. They are the teachers in my life now. I love the Gospel and have had five boys fill missions all over the world. It has been the greatest blessing to my family. Hopefully, I have enough energy to do it again in my older age.

How I live my faith

I am a member of the Bishopric in our ward. But the calling I have loved the most over the years is a teacher of Gospel Doctrine. Mostly I love my family and visit the Temple often to not only help those that have gone before, but remind me what I owe the Savior.
