Hi I'm Taylor Jolly

I'm from Kirkland Washington, I love baseball, serving my mission, laughing and just being me. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving my mission in Salt Lake City Utah South Mission. After my mission I will be attending Brigham Young University. I love snowboarding, baseball, investing and just hanging out with my friends who are always there for me. I was born and raised a member of the church and wouldn't have it any other way.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members so I was born into the church. I grew up in the church and just loved every aspect of the church! It provided me with all the tools I need to live a happy life that is centered around Jesus Christ and his love for me. Everyone at some point in their life ponders the question of their religion and desires to know whether or not it is true. I reached that point when I was a teenager and decided to find out for myself. I read the Book of Mormon cover to cover, got on my knees and asked and.... nothing. Nothing you might ask, yes nothing. I sat there and pondered on why I didn't have this powerful spiritual experience. Then I realized, I didn't need a powerful spiritual answer. I knew the church was true and I didn't need that powerful confirmation. I had seen how the church and the teachings of Jesus Christ had bleessd my life along with my families. Heavenly Father knew I didn't need that strong confirmation, so I didn't recieve it. People sometimes ask me if I know the church is true and if I know Joseph Smith was a prophet and I tell them "YES" and they ask how I know and I tell them, "I don't know why I know or how I know, I just know I know and I cannot deny it".

How I live my faith

I live my faith by everything I do. The teachings of the church help me to live a Christ centered life. I think service is the best way to live my faith because it is exactly what Jesus Christ did during his life, He served and He loved. I learned more about myself through serving then I did in any other way. I am currently serving a mission and I love every second of it. Helping people come closer to Christ and answering some of the questions of their hearts is more rewarding than anything I have done in my life before.
