Hi I'm Jerry

I'm grew up in San Jose, CA. I am a doctor, a husband and a father who keeps physically fit. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my sweetheart Bernadette in 1997. We have 6 children, two girls and four boys. The first was born in 1999 and the last was born in 2006. I bring my children to early morning seminary at 5:30 every morning and play basketball or go jogging while they are in class. I also like to play soccer, tennis, golf and softball. I have run 5 marathons - San Francisco, Marine Corps (twice), Honolulu and Camp Speicher. I studied Chemical Engineering at Brigham Young University and received my medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. I was active duty Army for 11 years, stationed at the National Naval Medical Center, Tripler Army Medical Center, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center and Brooke Army Medical Center. I like to garden and work around the home.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon and have loved going to church my whole life. Jesus Christ can take the imperfections, shortcomings, heartache and sadness of this world and make all things beautiful.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church and visiting other church members. I try to teach my children that Christ and His gospel will help them through the trials and sorrows that we experience in this life. I try to be cheerful, supportive, positive and look for the silver lining in every cloud.
