Hi I'm Daniel

I am Daniel, I am from Colorado, I now know that God wants me to help all of his children return to him, and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am 22 years old at the present, I am from Colorado Springs CO, and I love to do a wide assortment of normal things. I am going to college to be a mechanical engineer, I am engaged to be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I try to be the best that I can be because that is what God wants me to be. I think that all people can get along with each other even though we may have opposite ideas on things. I know that we all are equal and deserve to be and need to be loved.

Why I am a Mormon

Most know that I was raised in the Church but I would let all know that many times I thought of leaving it. So the main question is why did I stay. I did it because I had a hard choice in my life that I had to face. The choice is personal and I most likely don't know any of the people who will read this. But let it be know that this choice almost made me leave the church. But I stayed because I gained knowledge that this is the true church that Christ set up when he was on the earth. I have also seen the blessings in my life from my choice to stay, and from following Christ's example. I know that we all are blessed for doing what we should do in this life and that is why I constantly strive to do this through my life.

How I live my faith

Christ says in the new testament that we should love one another and by this shall man know that ye are my disciples this is what I try to do. I try to go out and show Christ like love for every body. I may not always do this but I try and I know that, that is the best thing to do. To always try to be better. I also live my faith by trying to live my life as Christ would have me live.

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Knowledge. All the books of scripture teach us to be better and they give us the know how to do that. As I have read the scriptures I have noticed a profound effect in the way I act in my life. Knowledge is a great blessing that we gain but it is not the only blessing that we get from reading the Words of God. I can list a few of the blessings it gives me but it my not be the same ones that you receive from our own personal study. I would encourage all to read and feast upon the Words of Christ. Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

No we do not. We do respect him as we respect Moses, Noah, and many other great prophets who have done what the Lord has asked of them. Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet of God and to restore the true church that Christ formed on the earth. We recognize him as an important individual in Heavenly Fathers plan. We do not worship any prophet that God has called, but we merely acknowledge them for what they have done and for what they now do. We as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints only worship God the Eternal Father and his son Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
