Hi I'm Noelle

My family are my friends! I love singing, camping and doing home improvement projects and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, grand daughter, cousin, sister and a niece. My family is very important to me and they are some of my very closest friends. Home is where my heart is. Unfortunately, my parents were divorced when I was 4years old and I would not choose it again, if I could rewind time and change things, BUT I have learned some very valuable life lessons from my experiences with family challenges. In my younger days I was a gymnast for 11 years and I loved it! I am currently in the category of life entitled "student and employee" with a slight hold while serving as a volunteer missionary for the church in Florida. My missionary service is hard, but I love the satisfaction of helping people and inviting others to learn the truths that I hold dear to me. I one day hope to be a therapist or advocate for the developmentally disabled population and I am excited to be a mommy someday in my future! I love singing, organizing, hiking, camping in the mountains, gardening, and doing home improvement projects. I am an average person with beautiful dreams and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I would like to consider my self a "thinker". I love science. I love psychology. I love to observe the world and try to figure out how things work and why things work, but I have found that there are a lot details of our existence that can not be explained in secular learning. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because the doctrine of this church answers basic life question like, "who am I" and "what is the purpose of life? I know that I am a being of divine and infinite potential and that on this planet I am to work to really discover what that means. I am only a little speck of dust in comparison with how many people have walked this green earth, but in my nothingness I am every thing when I remember God's love and live according to that knowledge. I find that Love in this church. I also get the most Philosophical, Intellectual and Spiritual guidance from the Mormon Church than I have found any where else. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

There are so many different life styles that people lead. So many religious beliefs and the lack there of. There are rich people, poor people, fat people and small people. The bouquet of people that makes up the human race is awesome and the beautiful part about it is that the craziest of hippies CAN be friends with the goody-too-shoes Christian girl. I think that the way I live my faith is by making a conscious effort to remember that every single person is a powerful, beautiful creature created by a perfect God. I try really hard to treat every person with the kindness, love, friendship and consideration that I would expect to be given to some one of great importance. My goal in life is to make people feel attractive, smart and important. I live my faith by working to live as Jesus would live. WWJD

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Noelle
I love the Book of Mormon! It is a beautiful witness to me that God loves all his people. Just like the Bible, The Book of Mormon is a historical record of mans dealings with God. The Bible is a record of people in the east and the Book of Mormon is a record of people in the ancient American continents. It is a history of the people that were the ancient ancestors of the American Indians and before them, the Myans, Aztecs, and others. Just like the Bible the Book of Mormon contains the accounts of war, culture and most importantly faith in Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer. The climax of the book being the visitation of the resurrected Savior to the Americas after his visit to his 12 Apostles in the East. So, who wrote it you ask? Prophets wrote it starting from about 600 BC to 421 AD. They were men put in charge of keeping the records and preaching to the people; who held the authority from God to do so. The second to last man incharge of keeping the records, Mormon, took the library of scrolls and tablet he had been given charge of and he abridged them into one record. He later passed the record on to his son who eventually hid them in the earth to proctect them and preserve them for the benefit of future generations. Over a century later, in the early 1800's a boy prophet, Joseph Smith would be led to the record through the direction of an angel and would translate the record into the english language throught the power of God. The translation would be printed into a book and be titled...The Book of Mormon! How awesome!!! We are all God's children. Whether you are brown, white, yellow or green and He does certainly give his word to all who will listen. The Book of Mormon is proof of that to me. Show more Show less
