About Me

My home town is Orem Ut, i currently serve in Mississippi as a Missionary, representing my Savior, and spreading His wonderful Gospel abroad. I am the second oldest out of seven kids, One older sister, 5 younger siblings, and Two amazing parents. We love to sing and perform for fun. For me personally i may one day do performing in a more professional Atmosphere. We also love to go on big road trips, some of my favorite memories of my family are when we all crammed ourselves, our stuff into one van, and a small trailor to boldy go where...many... have already gone before... Except us. I have visited all around the west with my family, i have visited, California, Oregan, Washington, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, visited breifly in Arizona, Navada, Canada and all around Utah!! Many wonderful memories, i love our family trips. I love anything that has to do with Science and Art. After im home from my mission I plan to go to school and study Geology/Paleontology, Visual arts and Performing arts. I hope to someday travel the World, and see as much as i can of this wonderful world our Heavenly father has given us. Someday, I hope to find a special Young lady, fall in love, and be married for time and all eternity. after which we will start a family together. Family has always bin a huge part of my life, and I greatly look forward to being able to start my own one day. Last but not least, I LOVE TO LAUGH!!! Its my favorite Hobby. I have no idea where i would be if i could not laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I am from Orem Utah, also known as the #1 Producers of Mormons in the country I was raised by two wonderful parents, that taught me the gospel both by word, and Example. They are a big part of who i am today, although, my testimony is not based off of my parents. Everybody, no matter what beleif, eventually have to decide if what they grew up in, or were introduced to, is right for themselves. My testimony was built opon MANY exspiriances, usually small, but never the less impacting. One of my families biggest growing expiriance was back in 2000. My little sister Rebecca at the age of only 6 months old had a problem with her little heart. She had two Valves that were bulky and would let nothing but a small squirt of blood through at a time, causing her heart to beat way faster then normal. Her condition was known from birth, and she had check ups often. In Aug of 2000 my parents were told durring a checkup, that Becca had to stay, cause if she went home today she will not live through the night. This frightening news was the start of a long treatment, in which my parents were gone, leaving me and the rest of my siblings to the care of extended family. My little sister later had to have a heart surgery, and after that her condition still did not improve much. Then one night a phone call came to my parents while they were at the Ronald McDonald house in Salt Lake city, they received the news that my sister was quickly drifting away, and they must come quickly. When my parents arrived little Rebeccas bed side was surounded by doctors and nerses, no longer sure what they could do for her. Devastated, my parents began to make phone calls to family about the news. When they called my aunt Margine and told her, she responded "NO, that cant happen, we have bin through so much, its not happening" She knew that it wasint her time. Encauraged by my aunts words they decided to instead call and ask our family to pray. What happened next is that our Family told their friends and their friends to their famlies, and thus started a long chain of people, even people we never met, were praying for my little sister. Later that night we had a family Miracle, my little sister somehow began to gather streigth and began to fight her condition. Doctors could not explain what happened, for it was not the work of any man, nore could be understood by men, as for my family we do not try to understand how it happened, but that it DID happen. Rebecca still spent a lot more time in the hospital, but she made it through, she is now healthy and strong, and is a wonderful blessing to our family. This exspiriance and many other smaller expiriances have built my faith and confirmed to me that the gospel is real. I know that prayer works, and that when we have faith in our Savior Jesus Christ everything will work out. My testimony is simple, but strong, i know that God it Real! and His son Died and was resurected for us, and that the Holy Ghost testifies of this truth, and when we do whats right, our lives may not become easier, but we become stronger and will find joy no matter what is happening in our lives. I know that this is true, and thank you for takeing the time to read my testimony, may the Lord bless in your life and grant you success in your journey in life.

How I live my faith

I Love the scriptures, and always strive to live by them. One of my favorite scriptures from the Bible Matthew 5:16 is which reads: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven" One way I stive to live my life is by sharing my light (talents) with others. I love performing, I love drawing, I Love singing, I love learning and I love making people smile. I beleive that Unless you share your talents they are NOT worth having, we are all sent here for a reason, and we are given differant abilities for a reason. So I do my best to share what i have bin given, its my way of telling my Heavenly Father thank you for what he has given me. Another way I strive to share my light is by striving to be a good example. I currently serve as a Missionary for our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I strive to represent and teach people About Christ, and his love for us. I also strive to read my scriptures daily, and pray as often. I also do my best to treat others the way Christ would. I always make it an effort to make sure that everything I do and say is kind and uplifting. I try to look how I want to be treated, then strive to treat others that way. I find that I am much happier when I am treating others with kindness, and bringing smiles instead of frowns. Though im far from perfect, I still do the best i can. another scripture I love is on page 295 In The Book Of Mormon, Alma 34:32: "For Behold this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors." We are all here for a reason, and that reason is to "prepare to meet God". To do that you must follow Christ, and follow his example. Though life is hard, and We are far from perfect, I Promise you that the more we strive to live a good life, and treat others with kindness, we are blessed with confidence, comfert, and Joy. I know this is true.

Are Mormons Christians?

Brian
First off, I would Like to clarify that The Official name of the Church is NOT "Mormon" Its "The Church of JESUS CHRIST of latter day saints". As a Church We do our best to follow Jesus Christs tachings as written in the Scriptures. I have lived my whole life in the church, and I will testify to all that I Know that Christ lives, He is our Savior and Redeemer, and that it is through him we can be lifted from trails and forgiven of sin. I love him with all my heart and will serve Him to the end. I dont just beleive, but I strive to live my life in such a way that everyone who meets me can see and feel the light of Christ through my example. Would'nt you say thats what Christians are? people who beleive In Christ, Live His Teachings and take His name opon them? What do you say? Show more Show less
