Hi I'm Amy
I was born and raised in Southern California. I'm a wife, I'm a blogger, I'm a photographer and I'm a Mormon.
I love living in Southern California. After High School I decided to stay here to attend community college and transfer to the local university. I finished my bachelors degree in sociology with a minor in health science. While attending college I met my husband at the singles ward I was attending. We were married and decided to live close to the university so that he could finish his degree. For now I spend my time working for the family sign business, blogging and running my photography business. I enjoy blogging, cooking, running, indoor cycling, reading and spending time with my cute husband. I also enjoy activities that allow me to enjoy the great weather of socal such as biking or hiking.
Well I was born into a Mormon family and many people may think that is the only reason I am a Mormon, but that isn't necessarily true. When I was about 15 years old I decided to read The Book of Mormon and really find out if this was the right church for me. As I began to read, follow the commandments and pray, my friends and family began to notice a change in my countenance. I did as well. I knew that The Book of Mormon was true. A few years later, while bearing my testimony at my singles ward, I said "I know the Church is true" and that was the first time I had ever said that. At the time I was being filled with the spirit as I attended my church meetings and classes at the Institute of Religion across from my college campus. I was lucky to have opportunities to grow spiritually and decide for myself. I always believed that the Church was true and that I wanted to be Mormon, but now I know the Church is true.
We live in such a wonderful place. Our ward is full of many young couples that are in the same situation as my husband and I which makes it really fun. We also attend church with many wonderful growing families. We have had the opportunity to have many callings in our ward. We have served as sunday school teachers, I have taught relief society and the young women and now we serve together as primary teachers. We are blessed to live in a very active and happy ward and it really feels like a big family. We always have a good time visiting with our ward family at church and other activities.
