Hi I'm Ron

I'm a Mormon. I'm in school to become a paramedic. I love helping others!

About Me

I'm going to school to be a paramedic. I love helping people, that's a big part of why I want in that career field. I love my family and my friends. I've been richly blessed in my life with people who care for me. I served a two year mission, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in Colorado. I have had many trials in my life, but with the knowledge of my Savior's sacrifice, for me, I have been able to overcome them and become a better person.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because it's all the other churches or religions didn't feel whole or complete to me. The Church of Latter-Day Saints has taught me that I can have a close relationship with my Father in Heaven. They even challenged me to pray and ask God if this church was true. I did pray and I received a powerful answer that this is a true church. Ever since then, this faith has blessed me in ways I never knew I could find happiness. I feel whole and complete now. Most importantly I know who my Savior is and what He has done for me, as an individual.

How I live my faith

I try to treat others the way Jesus Christ would. Showing others love and compassion brings me happiness. The Savior said, "Come follow me." I try to live my life patterned after the greatest of them all, the Son of God.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

We invite everyone to find out for themselves if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I can tell you that I know it's true, but you can't just take my word for it. You must find out for yourself. The Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ, was written by a collection of prophets that lived in the ancient Americas. It was buried in the ground for over a thousand years after the civilization was destroyed. A young man named Joseph Smith, in the 1820's was shown the place in which it was buried, by an angel of the Lord named Moroni, one of it's authors. Joseph Smith was then instructed by God to translate the record into the English language and have it published as the Book of Mormon. The ancient American prophet Moroni, prior to burying the record, left a promise from God that all those who carefully read of its message that they would receive a witness that it is true. For myself, I came to know that the Book of Mormon is true. I did this by reading the book and pondering it in my heart. I then prayed and asked God, the author of all truth, if it was in fact true. I received an answer from God and I know it is true, with all my heart. Because the Book of Mormon is true, Joseph Smith did in fact translate it, and the Church of Jesus Christ was restored in its fulness. Show more Show less
