Hi I'm Benjamin

I'm a pilot, a bagpiper, an aerospace student and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a full-time student studying to become an aerospace engineer. I am married to my high school sweetheart and we've been married for almost four years now. Though a Utah native, I spent my summers as a youth in California where I worked at various Boy Scout camps. I hope to return to California once I finish my masters degree and work for one of the private aerospace firms there. Before starting college I served a two-year mission for my church in the great country of Albania. While there I learned to speak the language, had many great experiences teaching people about Christ, and came to truly love the people of Albania. I can't wait to return! In my spare time I enjoy hiking, shooting, and spending time with my wife. I am also learning to play the bagpipes and look forward to celebrating my Scottish ancestry through that beautiful instrument.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to know for myself through reading the Book of Mormon and living the teachings of our Savior, that Jesus Christ has once again restored His church to the earth. I can indeed say that I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that God continues to lead His children as He has always done. I have felt the Savior's love as I have followed His teachings and obeyed the voice of the living prophets and apostles.

How I live my faith

I serve in my church each Sunday by leading meetings and teaching from the scriptures. I am also assigned, as are all the other men, with one other guy to go once a month and visit with, teach, and if possible help two families within our congregation.
