Hi I'm Melyssa

I'm an engineering student, a Texan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an undegraduate student studying computer engineering. I want to pursue a masters degree in biomedical engineering. I am engaged to a business major who wants to study medicine, and we plan on getting married in April. I hope to someday develop some kind of technology for the medical world. I grew up in North Texas, and love my home. I enjoy snow skiing, swimming, reading, and playing the violin.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know that I am a daughter of God, that He loves me and has prepared a way for me to return to live with Him. I know that because of His unlimited love for His children, he has given us prophets and restored the His organization, as was in days of Christ, to the earth. I know that by following Christ's path for me, I can achieve more peace and happiness than any other way.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying each day to be a little bit more Christ-like, and seeking to serve others. I strive to understand my Heavenly Father a little more, and emulate Him in all that I do by reaching out to those who are in need of help. At church I participate as a teacher.
