Hi I'm Cin J. L.

I play ball on all days that end in a "Y" except never on Sunday, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am Hmong. I have a passion for soccer, but occasionally I will have a preference for basketball. I am attending college. I like Hmong and Thai music, as well as some K-pop. My favorite days of the week are Sundays and Wednesdays. Sundays=church, Wednesday=mutual & institute.

Why I am a Mormon

I converted to be a Moromon when I was 17 years old by receiving a prompting to return to learning about Heavenly Father's plan for His children. I grew up in a Christian home. By the time I turned six years old my parents had converted. Between the ages of six and 17 I held no religious belief. As I grew up, I received more and more Mormon friends, beginning from the first grade and continuing. Since joining the Church I have been blessed with the many things it has offered. I am blessed by the many things the Church is offering. Also, I know I will be blessed by the many things the Church will offer.

How I live my faith

I am an adviser to the youth at the branch I attend. I give service by volunteering at local schools. Gospel principles are a big deal; we would not be commanded to follow them if they weren't meant for us. Everyday I strive to be more Christ like and be as understanding as He would. Living faithfully isn't merely thinking, but also doing. Giving service is one of the most powerful ways that I find keeps me living faithfully.
