Hi I'm Jessica Forsgren

I'm a wife and mother of 4. I love sewing, swimming, sunsets and naps. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of 4 children with loving wonderful parents. I married my college sweetheart. I graduated from BYU in Math Education and taught HS math for 6 years. After a few years of teaching I went back and finished my masters degree. My husband and I tried for many years to have children, but ultimately learned that our children would be sent from Heaven to us though adoption. We have 4 beautiful children, 3 boys and 1 daughter--all from different backgrounds. I love being a wife and a mother. My favorite hobbies are swimming and sewing/quilting.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of the peace and joy it gives me. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, knows me and has a plan and special purpose for me. I am grateful for His son, Jesus Christ, my brother, my Savior and my example. I have recieved many blessings and gifts that I know came from my Heavenly Father. Among them are my family, my husband, my beautiful children, a safe and comfortable life and many oppertunities. When I attend church, follow the example of Christ, listen to the counsel and direction from the prophets and my church leaders, I am happy and have the Holy Ghost with me as my guide and companion--I walk with confidence. I have recieved many answers to my prayers and personal revelation. I am grateful for the relationship I have with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Jesus Christ is my ultimate example. I do my best to pattern my life after His. I am not perfect as He is, but I consciously work to be more perfect. Each day I look for ways to love more, serve more, show more patience and more kindness. I hope that when people know me, they know I am a true follower of Christ. Each day I strive to teach my children how to follow Christ and his example. Most all my time and energy is dedicated to this. I feel it is my most important role. I love my children very much and want more than anything for them to be happy. I know that the gospel will bring them true happiness throughout their lives. Currently, I serve as a Sunday School teacher to the youth ages 16 - 18. I am also the Stake Girl's Camp Assistant Director. Each June we take the girls in our area out into nature and teach them leadership, camping, first aid, and we have FUN. I also am a visiting teacher. My companion and I visit 3 ladies each month. We take good care of each other and try to love each other the way the Savior would.
