Hi I'm Steve

I grew up in Utah. I serve in the armed forces. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I served in the United States Armed Forces. I have a doctoral degree in education. I am a father of four teenagers. My wife and I hope to serve a mission for the Church when the kids are on their own.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. Even being a life long member, I have had to go through my own conversion to know for myself that the gospel is true. I have learned that Heavenly Father lives and loves me. By the power of the Holy Ghost I have been shown the beauty of Christ's atonement and how that great blessing works in my life. The teachings of the gospel have given me so much experience that I have applied into all parts of my life, not just things relating to being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to teach a Sunday School class of teenagers every Sunday. It is a blessing to be able to share with these young people what I have learned through my own study and experience. I seek Heavenly Father's direction through daily prayer and study of the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon. I try to live by the philosophy "Pray as if everything depends on the Lord and work as if everything depends on me."
