Hi I'm Kurt

I grew up in West Jordan, Utah. I am an attorney in Salt Lake City. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah. I have one older brother and three younger sisters. We all love to play sports. I especially enjoy playing tennis with my dad and going on runs with my brother. I recently completed law school at Indiana University . I enjoyed my time in the Midwest. The people there are terrific. After completing law school, I moved with my wife to Utah. I have opened my own law office and I enjoy meeting people through my work.

Why I am a Mormon

My father is a convert to the gospel of Jesus Christ. My mother comes from a family that has lived the gospel for generations. I was fortunate to be born to parents who taught me the gospel from a young age. My parents live what they teach and I chose to believe what they taught me. I was called to serve as a missionary to Brazil when I was 19 years old. Much of my understanding of the blessings of the gospel came to me while I served as a missionary. I came to know for myself that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of all mankind. I gained this testimony by prayerful study of the scriptures and the words of modern-day prophets. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is directed by its namesake.

How I live my faith

I work with the young men in my community. In addition to our Sunday meetings, we meet once each Thursday night to work on various projects - many of which are based in the boy scouts program. It is a blast to work with the young men. They have great enthusiasm and energy.
