Hi I'm Harry

I'm proud to call Georgia home. My greatest joy comes from being a husband and dad. I love sports and movies and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Information Technology architect and project manager for a large broadcast company in Atlanta, GA. I am married to my best friend and have an awesome son and daughter.

Why I am a Mormon

My mom was baptized when I was young and I had the privilege of being raised in the church. I have a strong testimony of the Savior and the Gospel and that was strengthened when I had the opportunity to serve a mission in Spokane Washington. I especially love applying the principles of the Gospel since I have been a father. It is a great path to follow when raising children.

How I live my faith

Over the years, I have had a lot of opportunities to serve the community and members of our congregation that would not have come about without being a part of the church. From meeting and serving others as a missionary in Spokane Washington, to assisting with disaster relief here in the southeast, to working with the Boy Scouts in our congregation earn their Eagle Scout, there have been many opportunities that have enriched my life. I am currently serving as a member of our Bishopric, which entails assisting our Bishop (lay minister of our local congregation) serve the members of our ward.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons are most definitely Christians. I define Christianity as a religion that has Jesus Christ as the center of its core beliefs, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints absolutely fits that bill. As the prophet Nephi stated in the Book of Mormon: "We talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins" (2 Nephi 27:26).
