Hi I'm Angela

I grew up in Nebraska. I'm a graduate student studying business. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to travel. If I could sell all of my possessions and travel the world I would. My favorite place in the world is London. I love the intersection of the very old and the very new. I also have a great love of classic literature. Les Miserables is one of the best books on this planet. The play isn't bad either.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. There is so much hope and joy in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Christ is my Redeemer, that He died for my shortcomings and my sorrows. This is a gospel of progression and growth. I always find something new to learn when I read my scriptures or attend church. I also love the promise of eternal families. My family is such a source of joy and happiness in this life and I find great peace in knowing that these relationships will continue beyond the grave.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by the small, every day actions that have shaped who I become. I start my day with a morning prayer that sets the tone for my day. Taking the time to share the plan for the day with Heavenly Father helps me to gain perspective and set my priorities. I also make time to read the Book of Mormon each day. The examples of the prophets and their patterns of righteousness serve as teaching tools for me. I also serve in my ward. I enjoy teaching classes and learning from others as we discuss the Gospel together. There is such a rich environment of learning and growth at church.
