Hi I'm David

I am a husband, father, grandfather, lawyer and a former US Army officer. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father and grandfather. I have enjoyed a successful profession as a lawyer for nearly 35 years and look forward to taking a break from the practice to serve the Lord on a full-time mission. I enjoy photography and the outdoors, including mountain biking - which also involves trying to keep up with my very active wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a love for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and a firm testimony of the power of His redemption. I know I have a loving Heavenly Father who reveals His will and truth through prophets today, just as He has throughout history. God has revealed truths and ordinances that bind families here on Earth and binds all of His creation through the eternities. The Gospel provides both direction and perspective - standards and goals - and the means by which I hope to become more like my Savior; to follow His example, benefit form His Atonement, and remain united with my family now and forever.

How I live my faith

I enjoy my service in the Church. I have been a bishop twice, serving as a bishop of a congregation of young single adults, and more recently as the bishop of my "home" ward. I had had the privilege of teaching the Gospel to youth and adults in various capacities over many years of service and activity in the Church.
