Hi I'm Jason

Like to play guitar and photoshop, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to play the guitar and definately want to advance myself for in music theory and to learn more musical instruments. I also like to play some chess from time to time as well do a bit of golfing and indoor rock climbing. I plan majoring in some field of engineering; either computer or mechanical. Also I love to learn new things, whether it is in the scriptures, people, events, etc. Even how to fix a computer or ipod to something random like a new and quick style of folding t-shirts. I feel that the more that I learn and understand certain things, I will be able to make the better choices for my life and to become a better person, so everyday I try to learn something new.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, what can I say; I was raised Mormon. My parents were very active in the church. And probably by the looks of it (and actually for a bit)I was living off my parents testimony. But I can say this; I cannot deny the spiritual experiences that I have had as well the answers and comfort that I have felt from my Heavenly Father. I honestly can say that I cannot deny those experiences or the fact that this Gospel has restored and we have Prophets on the Earth today. The Book of Mormon testifies of Christ (as does the Bible) and miricles have occured from that words of that book. Anyone who hasn't read the Book of Mormon should read it (along side with the bible) and your life will change.

How I live my faith

One of my favorite principles of the Gospel is repentance. The fact that you can change your life toward God and always improving your life on a daily basis. Before, I always thought that repentance was just for sin, but look at it more in depth it is a little bit more than that, I absolutely love it. Learning that little truth has helped me so much become closer to my Heavenly Father. I know at times I mess up or am not good enough but though Faith in Jesus Christ my weak things can be made strong (Ether 12:27). Also I taught 12-13 year olds about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel that teaching the Gospel to the youth and having it a critical part in their life is essential now. With all of the distractions straight-up evil that is now in the world and the virtual media, it is extremely easy for them to be swayed to those things and go down a very dark path. With the Gospel in there they can be armed with the "armor of God" and able to face Satan those temptations in life and choose God.
