Hi I'm Tara

I'm a nurse. I love music. I love family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Tara and I grew up in northern Alberta, Canada. I was recently married to the love of my life, John for time and all eternity. I love any outdoor activity, but especially hiking and downhill skiing. I'm passionate about music and I play the piano, stand-up bass, and sing. I love to serve people and to do all I can to make a difference in the world. Family is the most important thing to me and I can't wait to be a mom someday soon!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I have received a witness from the Spirit that it is true and I have seen how it has blessed my life and the lives of my loved ones. I love the gospel because it is so simple and beautiful. I have faith that even though there are hard things that everyone must go through, there is still great joy and hope in Jesus Christ, our Saviour.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in every capacity that I am able to. I visit women in my church to make sure they are doing ok and to be there as a friend. I meet regularly with missionaries from our church to help and teach those we come in contact with. I hope to someday go to South America to participate in a nursing mission in an orphanage or school.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

The Missionaries will talk about the foundational beliefs and values of our church. They will talk about the nature of God, that he is our loving Heavenly Father. The will also talk about how our church was restored to the earth and organized, different commandments we have been given, and the joy the gospel brings. Overall they will talk about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and how what he did for the world can bless your life. Show more Show less
