Hi I'm Sarah

I was born and raised in Utah. I am currently a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I love to fish, hike, run, snowshoe, play volleyball, read, watch movies, and hang with family and friends. I served a mission in Oregon and am currently a student studying Health Promotions and Nutrition.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Savior. I know who I am and where I came from. There is so much confusion in the world and knowing that I have a Father in Heaven who knows me and loves me brings so much peace. I know that I am never alone, that I have a Savior that knows how I am feeling and that wants to help me be happy. I know that obedience is a pre-requisit for happiness. When we do what is right we are blessed and it makes better people. I know we are all God's children and that He wants us to be happy. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that by reading it we can come to know the Savior. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God. I know that when I read the Book of Mormon I feel the spirit and it brings me peace in my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday. Whether I am going to school, going to work, working out, hanging with family and friends, or going to church I am a memeber of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am a child of God and I try to act like it. I served a mission because I love the gospel. It is good news and everyone needs to hear it. I currently serve in my church by being a teacher.

What is faith?

Sarah
Faith is the belief in things hoped for that aren't seen. It is having confidence in God and His plan for all of us, His children. Faith is an action word. In order to have faith we must first have a desire to believe in something or someone and build on that desire through study, prayer, patience and diligence. As we act on the things hoped for or that we believe our faith will increase as will our desire to act in faith. Show more Show less
