Hi I'm Marie

I am focusing on health improvement for others as well as myself. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Horses, dogs, and the outdoors was my interest in youth, while education and lifelong learning has become the mainstay of my adult life. Though I now walk alone, my husband of 37 years continues to be the joy and inspiration of my life - our most rewarding experience being when we both knew our relationship was eternally sealed, not limited by time. Healthcare support within the home has become my personal and professional ambition in order to help others implement their own best health program. 25+ years of on-hands experience relative to neurodegenerative disorders inspires me to strive to share information with others as relevant to their interest and needs.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to become a Mormon because my love for Jesus Christ was reaffirmed by my recognition that the Book of Mormon increased my spiritual freedom to understand and express what that love meant, and looked like, in helping others. Becoming Mormon also greatly expanded my knowledge and faith in Jesus and our Heavenly Father as our loving creator. I was raised as a Catholic, and was also enfluenced by my mother's upbringing in the Methodist Church. My husband and I were non-denominational for the first 25 years of our marriage and were so blessed throughout our love for each other as we were sealed in an eternal marriage for the last 12 years of his earthly presence with me. Reading Joseph Smith, Jr's teachings, along with my subsequent participation in church activities over the past 10+ years, continues to confirm to me my initial promptings in my heart were correct - becoming a Mormon puts me on the correct pathway to finding Truth itself - a never ending journey in this life. Being a Mormon, for me, means having a "truth filled" spiritual home, where the mysteries and everyday challenges presented by life can be met and understood, without contentions and with meaningful answers being recognized and applied correctly. Learning of Jesus Christ's teachings and His gospel being the central focus of church activity keeps me knowing why I am,and always will be, a Mormon. Personally, no experience can match the magnitude of joy of being sealed as husband and wife for "time and all eternity".

How I live my faith

Day by day...person by person....thought by thought...knowing Jesus Christ is with me as I encounter each - striving to master my inner being, related to thoughts or behaviors that potentially could keep His love from showing up in my actions. My experiences as a member of the church and as a teacher has helped me learn, grow, and be inspired to want to learn more about Jesus Christ, understand who God as our Heavenly Father truly is, how best be a part of my community, and how best to be of service to others.
