Hi I'm Rebecca

I'm very blessed to be a Latter Day Saint. My passion in life is ballet. You could say I'm addicted to it.

About Me

As I've already explained, I've developed a deep passion for ballet. I've been dancing ever since the age of four or five and absolutely love it. I'm currently a student at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and have been performing as a member of the BYU International Folk Dance team since my freshman year, which has been an incredible opportunity. I also love music. Soundtracks are a particular favorite of mine. I'm also absolutely in love with Josh Groban's songs, but I like a whole variety of things. I played the flute throughout middle school, junior high, and high school and enjoyed serving as a three year drum major for the marching band at my high school. I also enjoy pretty much any outdoor activity.

Why I am a Mormon

For me, my testimony began to grow as I attended church, scripture study, and prayer with my family. Though at a young age these things didn't mean much to me, consistent attendance was key. If nothing else, they were habitual in my life. As I grew older, though, I realized I could no longer rely on my parents' testimonies to build my own. I had to create a personal foundation, one made through my own free will, one I could label as mine, built on Jesus Christ and His gospel. I can now honestly say I have that foundational testimony. I know that through this gospel my life has been undoubtedly, momentously influenced in a positive way. I know that Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ, live. I know that they both love me as well as everyone else with an everlasting love-a love so strong that it is incomprehensible to the human mind. Through God's abiding love and omniscient power, I can and should always trust in Him. I am eternally grateful for the blessings and opportunities that this gospel has provided for me-opportunities like daily scripture study and prayer that have allowed me to grow closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and to strengthen my relationship with them.

How I live my faith

Though I am of course far from perfect, I take everyday one step at a time, striving to live in such a way that God can be proud of me for. I constantly determine within myself to be a positive influence in others' lives.
