Hi I'm Kurt

I've been a Mormon since I was 20

About Me

My wife and I have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. After 37+ years of marriage we know the two most important things are our faith in Jesus Christ and our family. I love to read, golf, go out on our boat and research my family history.

Why I am a Mormon

At the age of 20 I had a religious experience that convinced me that I have a Heavenly Father that cared for and loved me. I began attending several churches looking for the right outlet for my new found belief. When I attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I received a personal witness that this was indeed Christ's church restored to the earth. My life since has not been without difficulties, but since my baptism, I have had the faith and understanding to find joy in the process.

How I live my faith

First off, my faith is a 24/7 lifestyle. It is not something for just one or two days a week. It is something I feel and live everyday, no matter the circumstances. I enjoy my Sunday worship and find it great that everyone in the Church has the chance to be of service. Right now, my wife and I work with college age youth and do our best to help shepherd them while they are away from their families.
