Hi I'm Jessica

I want to be a teacher. I have a wonderful family. I have lived in four states and two countries. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a girl. I am a graduate of the Ohio University with a degree in Journalism. I am currently in pursuit of my master's/graduate degree in secondary education. I served a mission in the Spain Malaga mission. I speak Spanish and English. I have two sisters.

Why I am a Mormon

I know it is the Lord's true Church. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It makes me happy to live the commandments and follow the precepts of the gospel to the best of my ability. It gives me peace to be enlightened by the knowledge of the plan of salvation. Mostly, it's because I know it is true.

How I live my faith

Daily - one step at a time and with much patience. I try to be an example, but it is definitely a trying effort.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, the name of the church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Church. Mormons are Christians because we believe in Christ and we know that he is our Savior and the Son of God. "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they make look for a remission of their sins." - 2 Nephi 25:26 Show more Show less

What is faith?

Faith is action. Faith is demonstrated by our actions, not by our words. Faith is going forward in life without knowing the outcome. Faith is trust in our Father and knowing that He knows what is best for us. "...thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works." - James 2:18 Show more Show less
