Hi I'm Jessica

I'm a mom of four children. I'm busy. I"m a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mom of four children. As my husband works at the children's hospital, I am the anchor that keeps our home and family running. I love piano music, literature, scrapbooking, and quilting. Most of all I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church. I was well taught by my parents to do all the things that brought me to my own knowledge of the Lord and his Gospel. As I read the scriptures and pray, I come to know my Heavenly Father. I come to know that the Lord wants me to be happy and that I can do this best by keeping the commandments.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily in very little ways: praying, reading scriptures, caring for my family, helping my neighbors, volunteering at my children's school, and looking for ways to reach out to those around me. I attend church with my children each week. One night a week, our family gathers to share time together and teach the gospel. It is my children's favorite night of the week. I also serve in our church.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Understanding my relation to my Father in Heaven and His Son Jesus Christ helps me to feel of their love for me. The love they share is the same love we share in our families. The greatest joy that I can find is in my family. Just as our Heavenly Father finds joy in helping his children (us!), I find great joy in helping my children. As Mormons we believe that family relations do not end at death; that they can be eternal. The committment that my husband and I made on the day we were married is of an eternal nature. No matter the challenges that we may face or the difficulties that we encounter, we are in this forever. Show more Show less
