Hi I'm Andrew

I lived in London for most of my life but now live in Dorset. I run my own software development company. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spent a lot of my life partying which was fun, but a distraction from what life is really about. It took me a while, but I am now married to the perfect wife and have two wonderful children that I can't wait to get back to when we're apart. I love my job in software development and know that I'm really lucky to be able to genuinely look forward to getting to work! I guess my career is also my hobby. I also love my church. It really helps me remember the real point of life.

Why I am a Mormon

This is simple. I'm a Mormon because since I discovered God does exist- I have a huge desire to do only the things that he has commanded me to do. I know for a certainty He knows what's good for me way better than I do- so I figure if I follow His teachings & pray as much as I can my life & happiness will improve. And it has in more ways that words can describe.

How I live my faith

Church is a huge part of my life. I love it so much I avoid planning situations which mean I would have to miss going even just for one Sunday. Going to church slowly teaches me to be more compassionate to everyone- something that really hasn't come naturally for me. Every week it reminds me of little ways that I could improve on when trying to love others more than myself. For a long time I didn't go to church even though my Mum & Dad are Mormons so I was raised with church as part of my life. Part of the reason for not going back is not just the commitment, but I knew they would eventually want me to speak in public and perhaps teach classes. These are things I can now easily do and perhaps even look forward to- so it's amazing how much my faith has helped me to grow as a person- one step at a time.
