Hi I'm John

I grew up in Wisconsin and have lived in multiple states and countries around the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Professionally, I am a management consultant. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife and four children. I also love waterskiing and watching college football.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are true. I have prayed to my Heavenly Father and asked him if these teachings are true and he has testified to me, through feelings in my mind and in my heart, that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true. The feelings were so strong that I cannot deny them. My belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ continues to grow stronger as I live by his teachings and realize the blessings that come into my life. I am a very happy person and live in peace, even with all that is happening in the world today, because I know that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us and blesses us as we follow his teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to follow the example of Jesus Christ. One of the things that I try to do, and encourage each of my family members to do as well, is to do something nice for someone else each day. It's a simple thing, but for me a helpful reminder of how I ought to approach life. Doing something nice for someone else takes on many forms. Sometimes it is something as simple as letting someone who is in a hurry go ahead of me at the checkout counter. Other times it is more time consuming, like helping someone pack and move out of their house. But the feelings I get when I do these things are always the same, I feel happy.
