Hi I'm Nikki Sue

I grew up in a small town in Idaho. I am a wife, mother of 6, a teacher, a daughter, and a follower of Jesus Christ.

About Me

My entire life all I ever wanted was to be a wife and mother. After graduating from college and teaching for a number of years, I married at the age of 29 and had a baby 14 months later. When she was 2 months old my husband was killed in a car accident. I was now a widow. That was the hardest time of my life. I didn't know if I would ever be happy again. Little did I know that I would. I remarried 3 1/2 years to a wonderful man who had 5 children. Being in a blended family has taught me so many lessons in life. There are ups and downs just like any other family. I now have children that are young adults and some who are teenagers. I love being a teacher. I teach at the local university and love being involved with the youth. I love being with my family. My husband, children, parents and siblings give me the strength to live life to the fullest. I love people and love the opportunity to serve. It is my greatest reward. I love being active. This would include boating with my family, exercising at the gym, hiking, playing sports, and biking. I like to read a good book and watch uplifting movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the faith but I had to find out for myself that I knew it was true. I did that and know for sure that what I have been taught as a child is true. I am a Mormon because I know that by following the teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ I can find true happiness. Each day that I keep the commandments and am a disciple of Him I receive blessings and I am truly happy. In a world that has so much sorrow and darkness I find the light that enables me to live life with joy.

How I live my faith

In my profession I have the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life. I try to help anyone I can. I live my faith by serving. I currently serve with the young women. I love the opportunity to teach and share what I have learned from my life experiences. I also enjoy visiting with other women in our neighborhood. I find strength in associating with them and hearing their struggles and successes. It gives me encouragement to know that I have other people out there who will help me.
