Hi I'm Jim

I grew up on a farm. I practice law in a rural community. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm and learned to appreciate the beauty of the earth and the law of the harvest. I like being an attorney because I am able to help others do what they cannot do for themselves. I enjoy working, reading, researching ancestors, listening to music and living in the country, but I love being with my wife and family.

Why I am a Mormon

While more seriously reading the Bible as a college student I began to have questions about my relationship to Jesus Christ and the application of His teachings in my life. During my service in the military I worked with a Mormon who impressed me with his character, life style and happiness and who helped me find the answers I was searching for. Practicing the beliefs of the Mormon faith I have experienced great contentment, safety and peace and a vastly increased love and appreciation for my family as I strive as a husband and father to live as Jesus taught. I have a deep and abiding testimony of Him.

How I live my faith

In my church I serve with fellow members in sharing with others the gospel of Jesus Christ and the beliefs of Mormons. I attend worship services each Sunday with my family and visit those who need my help. I try to be honest and fair in my dealings with others. My faith is not something I put on and take off but endeavor to live at all times.
