Hi I'm Joel

I love ATVing with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a pretty typical father of 3 great children. However, sometimes my wife tells me that we have four children, me being the fourth. I'm a professional sales executive that also loves to find new ways to build my own businesses. Currently, I own three additional small businesses and I'm thinking about going into some type of real estate investment! It's all fun, realizing that I can't take it with me, but perhaps I can make an impact on others and meet some new people.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was growing up, I felt like I was pretty logical in most things. So if it didn't make sense to me, I would question it. Basic things like the characteristics of God, and having additional holy scripture, and modern day revelation and how God the Father and the Son are two distinct individual beings, one in purpose, made logical sense to me. When I investigated and studied with other faiths, those basic truths were not apparent to me. The Church of Jesus Christ certainly doesn't have all of the answers, but because of modern day revelation, we are able to have additional information about the basic and perhaps more complex understanding of our Creator, even God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I'd love to say that it's a 24x7, 365 thing, however, I'm probably not that talented yet. However, I can say that I do *try* to live a Christian life style 24x7, 365. As I continue to understand the sacredness of each individual to which I come in contact, it's a little easier to treat them fairly, with compassion, with more understanding, and perhaps, even more mercy. And the balance of living in this great world where good and evil abounds is always a moving target for me. How do I show mercy and compassion without being taken advantage of, or perhaps I shouldn't even worry about that.
