Hi I'm Beverlie

I'm a wife, mother, sister and friend. The Gospel of Jesus Christ gives meaning and purpose to my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother to two beautiful boys. I enjoy making homemade cards, volunteering, helping others, and spending time with family and friends. I am interested in learning more about how to take better pictures with my camera, basic sewing skills and home decorating. After 7 years of being a full time mommy and homemaker I started working last year as a school aide in an elementary school. It was a hard transition, but it works out great with my family's schedule and I enjoy working with the children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by two loving parents in the Church all my life. Although I never questioned the truthfulness of it, I did gain a strong testimony of my own throughout my life as I began to realize that the only way I could get through the trials and changes of life was through the gospel of Jesus Christ. It has helped me in my marriage, raising my children and making other important decisions in my life.

How I live my faith

Living as a Mormon is not just a Sunday thing for me, it is a 7-days-a-week-24-hour-a-day way of life for me. I try hard to improve not only my life, but my family's and those I come in contact with. I not only work with children in my job, but I serve as a volunteer teacher with the 4 year old children in my ward. I love it! These children are so loving and just starting out in the gospel that it makes them so humble and so funny sometimes! I love to see their eyes light up when I see them and how they give me hugs and tell whoever they are with that I am their primary teacher. This calling has made me realize how important the basics of the gospel are like daily prayer and scripture study, loving each other and childlike faith. I try to live the gospel by getting to know my neighbors and looking out for each other in the neighborhood and other members in my congregation. Although I make mistakes everyday, I keep trying to be like Jesus Christ and feel better knowing that there are other people at church and around me that can relate to my challenges and everyday trials and we can help each other through it. I try to be a good example to others and I hope that those who come in contact with me, will see that I'm trying to be a good christian, and will want to know more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints because of how I live my life.
