Hi I'm Eric

I am husband, father, and I do taxes for a living. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a new father. I love spending time with my family and look forward to seeing my wife and son each day after work. I enjoy playing sports, reading, and outdoor activities. My wife and I met in 3rd grade and our senior prom was our first date. We dated for 6 years, mostly long-distance, and were married in 2004.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a loving family who taught me the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I believed what I was taught by my family, church leaders, and teachers, but ultimately I am a Mormon because I have received many witnesses from the Holy Ghost of the divinity of God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the scriptures. I read and prayed about the Book of Mormon and through that book I know that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God and called to restore Christ's church. My convictions were tested and strengthened through serving the people of McAllen Texas for two years. Being a missionary has forever changed my life and every blessing since finds its foundation in the mission field. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith every day through small and simple things. My faith shapes everything I do from work, to family, to any activity. I serve in the Church because I know lives can change for the better and my life continues to change for the better when I serve.
