Hi I'm Daniel

I love my family, basketball,football, and horses.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 4th child in a family of 7. I served a mission in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission where I shared my testimony of the Savior and his Plan of Salvation with the people there. I am eternally thankful for my time on my mission and for the growth and understanding I gained there. When I returned from my mission I met the love of my life. We were married in the Memphis Tennessee Temple and have been blessed with 4 boys that keep our lives "interesting". I enjoy sharing my love of sports and horses with my boys. Each of them have their own horse/pony and we love going for rides. They love to come with me when I go to ropings and cheer me on. They are my biggest fans and toughest critics. They never fail to remind me of the steers I miss. I love my family and spending time with them. I am thankful for the opportunity to be with them for eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a firm knowlege of the gospel of Jesus Christ and his Atonement. Growning up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I was taught from a young age the truths contained in the Book of Mormon and Bible. I never had just one powerful experience where I felt that I received my testimony. Thanks to my parents, church leaders, and friends I had a steady increase in testimony throughout my life. I have certainly gotten down on my knees many times and asked the Lord if Joseph Smith is a true prophet and had the spirit confim that to me. I have also done the same for the Book of Mormon and received the same confirmation. Knowing that those two things are true gives me the strength and understanding to strive to follow the Lord's example in my everyday life. I am thankful for the Savior and for his everlasting atonement. For the opportunity it gives us to make and keep covenants with our Heavenly Father so that I can be together forever with my family.

How I live my faith

I strive to be an example of Christ to those I work with and others through my words and actions. I have been asked to serve in our local ward in a position were I get to work closely with families and enjoy seeing them progress in their relationships with our Savior. I am greatful for the opportunity to visit with families in their homes and get to know them through the hometeaching program in the church. I love to talk with my sons about my time on a mission and the people I was able to serve with there. I strive to be an example of a righteous priesthood holder to them and help them have a desire to serve others and desire to be a worthy priesthood holder.
