Hi I'm Colin

I grew up in Layton, Utah. I am a husband, a father, and a soccer player. I'm a medical student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father of one beautiful little girl. I have been married for two and a half years now, and my daughter just turned one. I am a college graduate and I'm now attending medical school. When I'm not studying for classes or spending time at home, I enjoy movies and sports. I love soccer. I loved watching the world cup last summer in South Africa, and I love playing whenever I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon makes me happy. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ, I know he is the Son of God and that he died for all mankind. When he gives us commandments, they are for our benefit. If we choose to follow them, we find joy and peace in our lives. That is how I have tried to live my life, and I have found that it is unerringly true. The gospel of Jesus Christ gives my life purpose. I know who I am, and what my relationship to God is. I see God's hand in my life each and every day, and I know he loves each and every one of His children. I know that God has called a prophet to the Earth today, and that he is inspired by God to help us. I love being a Mormon because I know that if I do my best to follow Christ's example, I can be with my amazing wife and my wonderful little girl for eternity.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each and everyday through the way I treat those around me. I try to live like the Savior did, to love and serve others. At church, I teach a New Testament class to the teenagers 15-16 years old. Some weeks it is great. Other weeks it's rough. But it's very rewarding and I'm grateful for the opportunity.
