Hi I'm Eric

I'm a father, friend, hard worker and a convert into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I was raised in the heart land of America with wide open fields to run in Oklahoma. I had a wonderful family who had such strong values. My grandfather was and will always be beyond description my greatest hero. I had been given a hard life where I have not always made the best choices. As a young man, I struggled to figure out many things and always thought the answers laid within myself to give. I served honorably in the Unit States Marine Corps. This was the stepping stone for many horrible things in my life that has blessed me to become who I am today. For many years after the military, I had became lost in anger and fear. I saw just how brutal humanity can be, and how fast you can lose yourself in this without a strong foundation to support you. I struggled over and over, always wanting to point fingers to others for my hard life. It wasn't until I found the gospel, that all my anger and fear had been laid to rest. I have become a better father and friend through the church and I thrive to have others around me to feel that same spirit that I was so gratefully blessed with. I father my boys with the gospel in our daily lives. I do my best to have them understand the teachings, but how important it is for them to have their own testimony in it. I want to always be supportive of their choice's regardless of the path it takes them. I know I cannot lead their lives, but I can help guide them as they ask for my help. The save love and guidance that our heavenly father.

Why I am a Mormon

I converted into the church when I knew I could no longer live my life and raise my children without heavenly father to help me. I know that our heavenly father loves us and has given us a living prophet to do many works through our father. I know that Jesus Christ lives and gave his life for us to be able to be forgiven. I prayed and asked long and hard. I know without question that this is the true church that Jesus Christ had put on the earth for us to return to our heavenly father.

How I live my faith

I start my mornings with heavenly father in our family as we do our morning prayers. I go through my days knowing that I have many mistakes about me, but I am still loved and blessed with the same gifts as we all have by our heavenly father. I will at times slowing find myself slipping out of his presence and quickly feel that lose of happiness and return requesting forgiveness. I know I will continue to become a better person in the gospel until the time I return to our heavenly father. This gives me grate comfort as I go through many trials that seems unbearable.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?
