Hi I'm Josh

I'm a family man and a professional, an adventure seeker and a traditionalist, a global traveler and a homebody. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to live life to its fullest. In my youth, this often translated into seeking adventure or mischief with my closest peers and friends. As a missionary, life became full as I immersed myself into a new language and culture, and helped the wonderful people of Ecuador to find the truth. For a period of time, education and professional ambitions encompassed my life and brought joy. Now, as a loving husband and a father of four (plus a fish named Derrick Rose), I find complete joy and happiness in living life to its fullest with my family!

Why I am a Mormon

I am blessed with a long heritage of Mormon ancestors. This was not always as important to me as it has recently become. Growing up as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints not only taught me the principles of the gospel, but also the Christ-like attributes that bring joy. However, being a Mormon did not define me. Today, I define myself as a Mormon because I know it's true.

How I live my faith

As a member of the church, I enjoy working directly with the 14 and 15 year old boys. I continually look forward to teaching them basic and advanced principles of the gospel, and preparing them to be wonderful missionaries and husbands/fathers. These young men have so much potential and I feel it's a privilege to be their mentor and friend. Recently I spent four days with them on a high adventure backpacking trip in the Colorado mountains - an experience that won't soon be forgotten.
