Hi I'm Krystle

Wife. Momma. Theatre Teacher. Mormon.

About Me

I've been married to my partner in crime for six years. We have one happy baby girl and one fur child. Oh and a handful of chickens. My favorite hen is named Willie. Short for William. Short for Shakespeare. I grew up in Utah but moved to Texas a few years ago to teach theatre. Sometimes I think I'm crazy for surrounding myself around so much drama. Most of the time I know it. Birthdays are my absolute favorite! Seriously. I think they should be major holidays or something. I have yet to work on my birthday.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my whole life. Growing up my mother took us kids to church by herself every week and made sure that we understood the importance of it. Her example and testimony strengthened my own. I know that Heavenly Father lives and loves each one of us. I feel that love every time I read the Book of Mormon, pray, go to church, or attend the temple. I don't see going to church or reading the scriptures as a chore. I know that I can turn to my Heavenly Father in prayer and He will help me. When I do my part the Lord will take care of the rest.

How I live my faith

Living in Utah I was always surrounded by church buildings and church members. I'll be the first to admit that I took it for granted. It was easy to be get to church when it was right down the street. It's very different in Texas. Now it takes us almost 30 minutes to get to church each Sunday and there are often situations where I'm the only member. However, the important stuff still hasn't changed. I still study the scriptures, pray daily, and attend church every Sunday. That is what my testimony is built off of. It's why I read the scriptures and pray with my baby even though she can't even walk yet. It is the foundation of a testimony of Christ.
