Hi I'm Andrew

I'm a mormon

About Me

I'm from Utah but moved to Florida because I got a job at a military base. I love to snowboard and have competed in many snowboard races. I also like to ride my bike and do 100 mile bike rides. I married my awesome wife just before I turned 30. I went on a mission when I was 19 to the Philippines, where I learned to speak Tagalog. I recently got open water scuba certified and look forward to many more dives in the future. I also love hiking, camping, kayaking, mountain biking, backpacking, rafting and doing just about anything outside. Yes, I do play golf too...just not very well.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, because it's what I feel to be the true church of Jesus Christ. I grew up in the church, but through my teen years I opened up my eyes to learn more about the church. I read, studied and prayed about the Book of Mormon and the church and felt that it was the true church for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good example while I'm out at work or having fun outside. Everyone know's that I'm a Mormon because I don't drink, smoke or swear. I've actually been told by someone that I work with that I just sound like a mormon. When I have gone to snowboarding events, other competitors might offer me a beer or a cigarette, but I politely decline. Then they find out I'm from Utah and that I'm a Mormon. I also live my faith by going to church weekly, and helping out the members of the church if they might need me. I've helped people move in and out of the area, and helped baby sit a couple times. Baby sitting was new to me, because I don't have any kids. I just try to be a great guy, help others and try to be a great husband to my wife.
