Hi I'm Bracken

I'm a masters student, a PB&J enthusiast, and a college football junkie. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 25-year-old master of accounting student. I love spending time with friends and family, meeting new people, and having new experiences. And no, I will not do your taxes.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it not only makes me happy but also brings purpose and meaning to my life. I believe that Jesus Christ lived and died for me and that God loves me perfectly. Being a Mormon and striving to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ pulls me through the difficult times in life and enhances and enriches the not so difficult.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching a sunday school class during church on Sundays. This year we're learning about the New Testament, so each lesson centers around a chapter (or chapters) of a book from the New Testament. Also, I'm assigned to visit and watch over several people in my ward (or congregation). We have a formal visit in their homes each month when I share a gospel message but I also check on them periodically to make sure they're doing alright and that their needs are being met.

What do Mormons believe about the nature of God?

This is where Mormons differ from a lot of other Christian faiths. We believe that God the Father and Jesus Christ are distinct and separate beings who have perfected physical bodies of flesh and bone. God created the earth and everything (and everyone) on it; He knows and loves each of us individually. Show more Show less
