Hi I'm Sabina Jeppson

I grew up in Argentina and came to the United States at the age of 21. I am a stay at home mom, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I lived in Argentina the first 21 years of my life. I have three sisters, two brothers and my parents still living in there. My life here is different than what it was back then; I am a mom of three little boys, I am a wife and my life is so busy with responsibilities. I do have my time to be around friends and to teach Zumba - that keeps my energy going. I love to volunteer in my kids' school and go to story time with my little one. I try to keep my Argentine traditions at home by speaking Spanish and cooking traditional meals. I enjoy reading and serving in the church as a sister, friend and leader.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents where baptized in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Ddy saints in Argentina before they had any of their six kids. They raised us with all these guides and principles of the Church. I didn't know what effect that would have in my life later on. When I was in my teen years, uncertainty came to me. Not a lot of my friends where members of my faith. I started spending more time with them than with my family. I started feeling empty inside. Being with them and not following my parents' teachings was definitely setting me far from the good feeling that I had felt before. It was that I started to realize that I missed my family and the feeling that was with me when I was doing the right things. I wanted to feel that again. I start spending more time with my family and saying my prayers and being active in the Church - serving and following Christ's teachings. I got the wonderful feeling inside me and the assurance that I was doing the right thing. With the years my testimony keeps growing and I am thankful for that experience in my early years. I was able to learn by my self through prayer and obedience and a relationship with my Heavenly Father that Jesus is my Savior and that this is His Church, that if we live His gospel every day we can feel his love to go through the things of this life. I have read the Book of Mormon and also the same confirmation came to me that it is true. I find the answers to my questions and best of all the spiritual assurance that this is where I should be to get to my Hevenly Father again.

How I live my faith

Currently I work as a Youth leader and I enjoy so much giving these girls my time and service. It reminds me so much of when I was that age and all the questions that I had. For me it is a way to do service and grow in my testimony. Also, what strengthens me the most is the daily interaction with my kids and family. Teaching my kids to pray, studying the scriptures together, spending time as a family - teaching them principles of service and love just like our Savior did. I love this gospel and the blessings that it brings to my life are infinite. And I know that any person that follows these principles and is willing to live a life where Jesus Christ is the center will find the problems of this life to be blessings for growing and will find much more joy and peace in this life. I know that we all are children of God and that He cares about each of us, He had a plan for me and you and He has send profets and guides for us here on the earth to find our way back home.
