Hi I'm Nathan

I'm a student, a husband and a father. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've been married for two years now. We had our first child last october, a little boy. I'm working full time and going to school for an accounting degree. I enjoy sports, both watching and playing. I'm also trying to teach myself to play the guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member all my life. But growing up many of my friends were not. It was hard for them to understand some of our beliefs. But I could see, as could they, the blessings that have come from living with the high standards. I feel my savior's love as I strive to be like Him. He has blessed me and my family tremendously. I have come to know him through prayer and study. Reading through the Bible about his life and also the Book of Mormon which testifies of Him has strengthen my faith. He lives! He loves us! He is willing to bless us! We just need to follow Him.

How I live my faith

I was in Brazil as a missionary from 2006 to 2008. Today I get to serve the Lord locally. I will visit other members in their home regularly. Occasionaly I will give a talk or lesson during church. I oversee the progress of the men within the church.

Are Mormons Christians?

Nathan
In the Book of Mormon the believers of Christ were given the name Christian. Today as believers in Christ we take the same name. When we are baptized into the church we make a promise to take upon us the name of Christ and to be His witnesses. Mormons are Christians. We are not only considered Christian in our worship but also in are everyday lives as we try to become more like Christ. Show more Show less
