Hi I'm Stephan Hunter

I'm a convert, a full time student and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Stephan and I'm 26 years old. I work full time as a janitor to pay my way through college and make a living. I enjoying gong to concerts and dancing. I also play tennis on a regular basis and am a part of a men's tennis league. I also enjoy some ice cream socials with friends and family. One day when in out of college and have more time I'd like to fix up and restore old cars. It will be a huge learning experience but it will be a lot of fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a convert in the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. I joined in September of 2009 it took me nearly two years to gain a testimony of the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. For so long I had a hardened heart and allowed all the miss understanding of his gospel from others affect how I felt about the church. It wasn't until I one night earnestly prayed to have an open heart and learn the truth did I begin to see and understand the fullness of this gospel. Since the. My life has changed for the better. One of the most influential reason I chose to join was when I read about temple work and how families can be sealed together and live together focal enternity. Shot after the death of my grandfather I heard of this gospel principle and that is what gave me hope in this time of need. I began to pray about this gospel earnestly with a sincire heart. As I prayed, read from the scriptures and pondered about this gospel principle for a few months, I received a confirmation that this gospel is true. Just three months later I received a confirmation tat Joseph smith is a profit of god and that we do having living prophets on the earth today in this latter time I came to know the truth of the book of Mormon and that it really is another testimony of our savior Jesus Christ. I came to know this truth simply by opening my heart and listening to the spirit. I encourage you all to have an open heart and to read the book of Mormon. If you do it will change your life dramatically.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as best I can. I know I'm not perfect and the lord doesn't require us to be perfect. All he asks is for us to have faith in Jesus Christ, to trust our heavenly father with all our heart and do out best in building the kingdom of God and that is how I strive to live my life. I try to set a good example to those around me at work and school starting with how I speak. I refrain from using fowl language. I always offer a listening ear to someone when they need someone to listen. I try to live my life the way that Christ lived his.
