Hi I'm Kelly

I'm a wife. I'm a photographer. I'm a blogger. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young wife and enjoying married life. I enjoy taking photographs and writing to capture memories that will last a life time. I love meeting people and learning about them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace that living the gospel brings into my life. I have a strong testimony of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today. I am a Mormon because I find that the gospel answers all of life's important questions "why am I here?" and "where am I going". I am a Mormon because I love my Saviour, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I find that my life runs a smoother when I try to live in accordance with the teaching of Jesus Christ. I am able to love my family more and serve others more when I exercise the principles of faith and prayer. When my heart is open to my Saviour, I know that amazing things can happen. I live my faith through serving and loving others- even when it is hard. I love to read the scriptures and learn of the teachings that are in them, putting them in to practice is well worth the effort. My husband and I like to fill our home with reminders of our Saviour, phrases that uplift us and music that makes our spirits soar. Sweet is the peace the gospel brings.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

I love being married! My husband and I both have a role to play, which is to love and respect each other, unconditionally. I find that when my husband and I are in tune with the teachings of the gospel, our marriage is even stronger. Faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and spending quality time together help us keep our marriage strong. Our goal is to be together forever! Show more Show less

What is faith?

Faith is trusting in something that you cannot see, yet you know it is true. Exercising faith enables us to grow and to learn things in ways we wouldn't normally expect. Having faith is something we can all do, the more faith we exercise the more our faith grows. For me, my faith is my greatest treasure. Show more Show less
