Hi I'm Cindy

I'm a wife and mother. I enjoy being active and spending time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Where to begin? First and foremost I am a wife and mother. There isn’t anything I enjoy more in the world than spending time together as a family. Before our daughter was born, I worked as a Human Resources Manager and enjoyed the business world. When we were expecting our daughter, I couldn’t imagine someone else spending more time her when she was awake than me! So I decided to stay at home and have been grateful for the opportunity. I love being a mother. Even though there are moments I miss working, I wouldn’t trade this precious, fleeting time with her for anything. I love to be active with my family. We enjoy spending time bicycling, running, swimming and a variety of other things. Early on in our marriage we decided to pursue activities we could do together versus separately. That decision has strengthened our marriage and helped us to grow closer together.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon faith. When I was a teenager, I wanted to make a decision about what I believed instead of just accepting what I was told. I decided to read a good portion of the Bible and also the Book of Mormon. I distinctly felt deep warm feelings each time I read both. Then I followed some counsel from the Book of Mormon to ask God if the book was true. As I prayed felt a strong peaceful reassuring feeling that the Book of Mormon and the Bible were indeed the word of God and that Jesus Christ really was my Savior and Redeemer. Since then, I have had many more experiences where the Holy Ghost has testified to my heart of the many truths taught by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have decided each and every time to commit my life more fully to Christ and living his gospel.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in every aspect of my life. I communicate daily in prayer with my Heavenly Father. I strive to read the words of the holy prophets from the scriptures. I attend church to be supported and instructed in my efforts to live my faith. I also strive to live a life that Jesus Christ would have me live by serving others and sharing his gospel. I work to be a better wife and mother because I know how important families are to me and also to our Heavenly Father.
