Hi I'm Kirsten

I grew up in a small town in rural Idaho. I'm a stay-at-home mom. I'm a runner. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to my best friend! I am a mother of 5 wonderful children. I am an amateur photographer. I love to run! I love playing the piano and singing. I love to snuggle with a blanket and a good book! I love having good friends and being around ones who inspire me to be a better person.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both members of the church. My dads side of the family only has a select few who are members whereas my moms side goes back several generations. Even though I was born in the church, I've been raised with many family members who were not. I've seen the difference in having the gospel in one's life or not having it and I've always preferred the happiness, contentment, and peace I have felt around those who are members. My testimony has been strengthened because of it. I love the gospel and the comfort in knowing that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and knows me individually.

How I live my faith

I strive to be a good example to those around me, especially my children. I serve in the church by leading the ward choir. It is so inspirational to hear the beautiful choir sing hymns of praise to the Lord each month! What a blessing music is in the church! It truly is a prayer unto Him and to be able to lead the choir strengthens my testimony more than I realized it ever could!

What do Mormons believe about family?

Kirsten
The family is ordained of God. God created us in his image with a divine purpose to live the Gospel and to raise our children in the Gospel. His eternal plan involves marriage between a man and woman, having children, raising them in the Gospel and striving to live in accordance with it's teachings. By doing so, we can live together eternally, with our loving Heavenly Father after we pass on from this life. Show more Show less
