Hi I'm Jenn

I love to sing. I love the stage. I'm from the South. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm your typical 23-year-old girl...to an extent. I grew up in the beautiful city of Atlanta with my amazing parents and three brothers--one older and two younger. I love nothing more than laughing, theater, friends, and family. I played volleyball in high school and was very involved in the choral program as well. I love reading, comedy, movies, music, and college football. I went to college for musical theater before Heavenly Father let me in on His plan for me and in September 2009 I began my mission papers. I just got home from serving in the Nevada Las Vegas West Mission and am currently finding how I can better share my faith without the nametag.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I was raised in the religion, but didn't really understand how much it meant to me until the summer of 2009. I'm Mormon because our religion answers specific questions about our purpose here on earth. It also teaches about the Savior's unconditional love and His mercy. There is endless hope. There is always a way back. That knowledge has brought me such comfort and peace that I can't even begin to explain.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by simply being a testimony of the gospel of Christ. By being kind, helping those around me, and trying to fufill my church callings. I just returned from serving an 18-month mission for the church in the beautiful state of Nevada.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a member of this church is amazing. Just imagine this situation: you get a job opportunity across the country, or even in another country, and you have no previous friends or family there. You need help moving in your things, and you need friends. Thanks to the church, no matter where life takes us, we instantly have a family there ready to receive us and help us with anything we stand in need of. We teach and practice the principle that we are all children of God, making us all brothers and sisters. In our church we teach, encourage, uplift, and help everyone around us--members and non-members alike. What an incredible blessing to know that not only are we never alone in spirit, but we are literally never alone no matter where we are. There is a Mormon church located in just about every country.
